We are delighted to announce that the National Trust at Petworth House, England have agreed to stock copies of Turner's Cracked Kettle, the first publication by The WordCurves Press. J M W Turner, RA is the subject of this entertaining mix of art, literature and life, and offers readers an intriguing mystery story about the painter's only major self-portrait.

In later life, Turner enjoyed a remarkable friendship with the owner of Petworth House, George Wyndham, 3rd Lord Egremont, who made studio space available for him. Egremont later bought twenty paintings, mostly landscapes and interiors, for his impressive art collection.

These Turner paintings are now among the most prized possessions at Petworth House, and those who watched Andrew Graham-Dixon's TV series The Big Spring Clean at Petworth, will know just how much care and attention every artefact receives each year to prevent deterioration while on display to the public.
